The Old Forge Art studio is peacefully situated in the lovely countryside of Wainfleet St. Mary, in East Lincolnshire, a few miles from both the beautiful sandy coast and the picturesque Lincolnshire Wolds.
Wainfleet is said to stand on the site of the old Roman town of 'Vainona' and although it is now several miles from the sea, it was once a thriving and important port.
Situated on the River Steeping, Wainfleet consists of two parishes - All Saints and St. Mary, and offers a wide range of fascinating places to visit.

Access is by road or rail
By train; Wainfleet All Saints station is a direct line from Boston and collection from the station is available.
By road; From the A52 (Boston to Skegness) take the Wainfleet All Saints turning also signed Bateman's Brewery. In Wainfleet turn into Mill Lane (through the brewery), 1 mile to Crow's Bridge, immediate left and right onto Wainfleet Bank. The studio is 0.7 mile on the left.
